Deep nature

Nature never grieves nor does she

apologize

she never moves to speak except in love

and even then through song

never does she explain

never is she bitten

nature is not interested in what you've written

nature can't be taught

and will not listen

nature cannot be caught

and you cannot easily get nature's attention

you can try

but you will never outrun nature

you'll never own her

neither will you cause her any harm

nor influence her in any way

but still you are

responsible for her in your whole nature

the skin the skies the scars

you think you leave

the turning soil

the stars

the virgin seas

the spheres and all who sail in her

and you are like a god

alone in nature

in love with yourself without knowing

the signs

the surfacing

the ripples reflecting

the reach of your own nature
